It looks like the May Report is no longer published in sections. The "Trash the Dress" story is within a text dump of the entire e-mail report. See, http://www.tmronline.com/A55951/tmrarti ... enDocument All the links seem to be active. the main website is http://www.tmronline.com/index.html . The newsletter has a wide circulation in the Chicago technology community. |

Wow, you guys are awesome!!!!!!!!
Brendan Cooper from Finger Lakes Radio Group is going to be putting a story together about Michael. Holly, the bunk beds would be fantastic. The DVD players, Remote Control Cars and PS2 would be thoroughly enjoyed by him as well. What's currently needed is: Dresser Linens for Twin size bed. Bike and helmet. Snow pants. Warmer winter jacket. Hats and gloves. He needs summer clothes in a size 6 or 7. I can't thank all of you enough. I have not even met Michael yet, but I'm sure your generousity will stay with him for a lifetime. |

Hey! Holly we also have our first child for Christmas, this year.
Michael will probably outgrow this winter's atire by then. |

very nice article.
what is up with the boyfriend, what a creep. I am sure that Michael will get all his needs met and hopefully a few non essentials to brighten his days. Now that I'm thinking about it, betcha Grandma and Grandpa could use something to make their new task of parenting a grandchild easier as well. Steve, any needs for the Grandparents? I'm a Grammie too, I'd love to help them if I can. Grow, where you are planted....

Good question. I'll check with Amanda.

Also, have you tried asking the school for assistance? I know from my past work with the Canandaigua PTO, that the elementary school has a large room in their basement that is STUFFED with clothing for kids who need assistance. If you were to contact the PTO, I am sure they would be happy to look for the needed sizes.

I was wondering also about health insurance for Michael.
I would think that he would eligible for the Healthy NY Program. They have an office at FFTH to assist people with the application process. Grow, where you are planted....

I think he went in for a physical this week.
He is going to Marcus Whitman, so I don't know if he would be eligible for the Canandaigua PTO clothing, but it's certainly worth a shot. |

Call the Catholic Church in Canandaigua they have a clothing room but I forgot what days they are open.
|

|
Also, the Friendship House in Middlesex has lots of used clothing (and other items) for very little money. They're open Saturday mornings.

Just checking in, has Michael recieved any of the items listed above? Are there any other needs? I'm still checking on a bike for him, unless he already has gotten one. Grow, where you are planted....

There is a better program for kids insurance. It may be part of the S-Chip program. Child healthcare Plus. Info is at the same place (across the street from FFTH). Thompson Health, Finger Lakes Community Care Network 3170 West Street Suite 150 Canandaigua, NY 14424 585-396-6463 888-758-7658 Facilitated Enrollers will see persons by appointment in Canandaigua and Geneva. |

Steve, you still need to get back to me about a time to drop off the PS2 and games! I'll be in Canandaigua around 6 pm tomorrow.

Sorry about that. I've been home with strep. I will be in the studio tomorrow, but only until 5. Amanda lives in Stanley if it's easier to drop something off there.

Oh Yuk, hope you feel better soon!!

Me too. This sucks. I haven't had it this bad since I was a kid. I've been on antibiotics for 30 hours now, which normally makes a big difference, but this time it's a slow go. I hate getting sick on Saturday because I have to wait until Monday to go to the doc.
|
|
|
I get Streph so bad I end up with tonsilitis.
The ENT Doc told me to gargle with warm salt water and peroxide mix. It makes the envionrment in your mouth uninhabitable for the germs. Try that, also some warm tea with Honey always helps. Oh and don't forget the ibuprofen, that will help quite a bit also. Take care. Grow, where you are planted....

I'll try the concotion, but I'm allergic to ibuprofen. Ironic that an anti-inflammatory makes my throat swell shut. Go figure.
|
|
|
Get well soon.
Don't you have a big shoot on Friday? |
|
|
Thanks for reminding me. I never did reply to that. Hey Peter, Friday at 4 would be great.

Most of the "Trash the Dress" segments are already off of the Chanel 13 Web site.
If you have direct links, post them here [elsewhere on the Minion board]. The vitriol in the "Smugtown" comments seems to indicate that a small audience of prudish people can bully a station to apologize for an entertaining event. Some of the negative tone may have been engendered by the lead up comments in the only "trash the dress" intro segment that seems to be on the web site. I agree with you (it is no big deal in comparison to scandals in shows from the same week), that same station has left up the little snippits about Elliot's mid life crisis for the appeal to the purient interest of their audience. I had a chance to meet one of your "brides" and found her entire family to be delightful. Keep up the good work with your photography and the good works with your various charitable events. Get well soon. P.S. How many people "offended" by the coverage watched all the segments? A quick turnoff is "offended," staying for the whole show to cluck about it = ratings. |
|
|
I stayed the whole time and found it quite interesting.
The entire set of segments are on the website, they are just shown one after another from a single link. You can get to it and see photos from the session on my blog at http://www.cheslerphotography.blogspot.com. |

I noticed that they used a bride on fire for the Chanel 13 online apology.
http://www.13wham.com/content/news/poli ... 3bca30ee31 I am sure that was not a piece that you shot with them that day. While they may think that this adds some humor to their apology, it may cause people who missed the segement to think that you were endangering your models at the event. |
